Job Description
We are seeking a warm, responsible, and engaging Nanny for an afternoon shift in a loving family’s home in Wesley Chapel. This part-time position involves caring for school-aged children from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual passionate about child development, capable of creating a fun and structured environment for children after school.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely pick up children from school or be present for bus drop-off.
- Assist with homework completion and provide academic support.
- Prepare healthy snacks and light meals.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, games, and creative play.
- Light tidying of children's play areas and belongings.
- Ensure children's safety and well-being at all times.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities and progress.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in childcare (nannying, babysitting, teaching assistant, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for children.
- Ability to organize and manage children's activities.
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Preferred Qualifications
- College coursework in early childhood education, psychology, or a related field.
- Experience with children of various age groups (e.g., elementary school).
- Ability to plan and execute engaging educational activities.
- Fluency in a second language.
