Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Night Fill Assistant to join our team in Vaughan. This full-time role is crucial for ensuring our store is well-stocked and ready for customers each morning. You will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and stocking merchandise during overnight shifts, benefiting from high night rates and a comprehensive benefits package. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently unload deliveries and transport merchandise to designated areas.
- Stock shelves, displays, and coolers with products according to planograms and store standards.
- Ensure products are correctly priced, faced, and rotated to maintain freshness and appeal.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other equipment safely and responsibly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including aisles and backroom areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock control procedures as required.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and meet nightly targets.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Required Skills
- Ability to work overnight shifts consistently.
- Physical stamina to lift, push, and pull merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in stocking and product placement.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail, warehouse, or stocking role.
- Experience operating manual pallet jacks or similar equipment.
- Knowledge of retail product handling and safety procedures.
