Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Liaison with a strong healthcare marketing focus to join our dynamic team in Tampa, Florida. This pivotal role bridges clinical excellence with strategic outreach, serving as a vital link between AdventHealth and the community, referring physicians, and potential patients. The Nurse Liaison will be instrumental in promoting our specialized services, educating stakeholders on our continuum of care, and fostering strong relationships that enhance patient access and service utilization. This position demands a blend of clinical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a strategic mindset to identify and capitalize on marketing opportunities within the healthcare landscape. The successful candidate will leverage their nursing background to articulate the value of AdventHealth’s services, ensuring patients receive the best possible care while contributing to our growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with referring physicians, hospital staff, community organizations, and potential patients.
- Act as a clinical resource, providing education and information about AdventHealth's services, specialties, and patient care pathways.
- Identify and pursue strategic marketing opportunities to promote specific service lines and enhance AdventHealth's market presence.
- Conduct outreach visits and presentations to healthcare providers and community groups to foster understanding and collaboration.
- Facilitate seamless patient transitions and referrals, ensuring a positive experience for both patients and referring partners.
- Collaborate with marketing and admissions teams to develop compelling outreach materials and strategies.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning and service development.
- Provide clinical assessments and recommendations as needed, leveraging nursing expertise to guide patient care discussions.
- Represent AdventHealth at professional conferences, health fairs, and community events.
Required Skills
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in an acute care or specialty setting.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations, patient care coordination, and referral processes.
- Demonstrated aptitude for marketing and strategic outreach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
- Prior experience in a Nurse Liaison, Case Management, or healthcare marketing role.
- Knowledge of the Tampa Bay healthcare market.
- Experience with public speaking and delivering educational presentations.
