Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Part-time Household Aide to support a private residence on weekends in Springfield, MO. This role is perfect for an organized individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean and orderly home environment and is capable of managing various household errands. You will be an essential part of ensuring our client’s household operates smoothly and efficiently during weekend hours, providing support that significantly enhances their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general house cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing kitchens and bathrooms.
- Manage laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and putting away clothes and linens.
- Organize and tidy various areas of the home, ensuring a clutter-free and pleasant living space.
- Execute household errands such as grocery shopping, postal services, dry cleaning pick-up/drop-off, and other specified tasks.
- Assist with light meal preparation or kitchen clean-up as needed.
- Maintain inventory of household supplies and report needs for replenishment.
- Communicate effectively and discreetly with the client or designated contact regarding tasks and any issues encountered.
- Adhere to high standards of professionalism, discretion, and reliability at all times.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to perform various cleaning tasks efficiently and thoroughly.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and trustworthiness.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds.
