Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Part-time Wedding Venue Aide at our beautiful Jurupa Valley estate. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a romantic, celebratory environment, thrive on assisting others, and are available for weekend afternoon shifts. You’ll play a crucial supportive role in ensuring our wedding events run smoothly, contributing to the magical day for our couples and their guests. This is an entry-level position perfect for someone looking to gain experience in event hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of ceremony and reception areas, including arranging chairs, tables, and decor.
  • Provide support to the event coordination team, ensuring all guest needs are met promptly.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the venue throughout events, including restrooms and public areas.
  • Help with basic guest services, such as directing guests, answering simple questions, and assisting with seating.
  • Support catering staff with non-food related tasks like refreshing water stations or clearing non-perishable items.
  • Ensure all venue policies and safety guidelines are adhered to during events.
  • Assist with inventory and organization of venue supplies after events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure a successful event.

Required Skills

  • Reliability and punctuality for scheduled weekend shifts.
  • Strong work ethic and a proactive, 'can-do' attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift (up to 25 lbs), and move items during events.

  • Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or event support roles (even volunteer).
