Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and organized Pharmacy Floor Coordinator with a strong focus on warehouse and logistics operations to join our team in Midtown, Tallahassee, FL. This vital role involves overseeing the daily flow of pharmaceutical products within our distribution center, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with all regulatory standards. The coordinator will be the linchpin between warehouse staff, inventory management, and outbound logistics, contributing directly to the timely and safe delivery of critical healthcare products.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping of pharmaceutical products.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with cycle counts and physical inventory reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with all Good Distribution Practices (GDP), FDA regulations, and company standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Manage product flow to optimize space utilization and operational efficiency.
- Train and mentor junior warehouse staff on best practices and safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, escalating complex problems to management as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with logistics partners to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of shipments.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably within pharmaceuticals or healthcare.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse operations.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite).
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM).
- Experience with cold chain management for pharmaceutical products.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles.
