Job Description
Join Sterling-Rice Group as a Pinterest Account Setup Specialist! This is an entry-level position perfect for individuals eager to start a career in digital marketing and social media. We provide comprehensive training to equip you with the skills needed to successfully set up, optimize, and maintain Pinterest accounts for our diverse range of clients. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our clients’ initial presence on Pinterest is professional, engaging, and aligned with their brand strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive training on Pinterest best practices and account setup procedures.
- Create and configure new Pinterest Business accounts for clients.
- Optimize Pinterest profiles, including business descriptions, profile images, and board categories.
- Conduct initial keyword research to inform board titles and descriptions.
- Upload initial pins and create foundational boards according to client specifications and brand guidelines.
- Ensure all account settings, analytics integrations, and claims (website, Etsy, Instagram, YouTube) are correctly configured.
- Collaborate with senior specialists and account managers to understand client goals and brand identities.
- Maintain organized records of account setup details and configurations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Pinterest features and platform changes.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interest in digital marketing and social media, particularly Pinterest.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
- Ability to follow instructions and learn new software quickly.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to ask questions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
- Familiarity with various social media platforms, including Pinterest.
- Prior experience (even personal) managing social media accounts or online content.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles.
