  • Develop, validate, and implement robust analytical methods for raw material characterization and quality control.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive raw material specifications, ensuring alignment with internal requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate closely with supply chain, procurement, and suppliers to manage material changes, address non-conformances, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot raw material quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support supplier qualification processes through technical assessments and material analysis.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, laboratory records, and prepare technical reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations and company policies.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a raw materials testing, quality control, or R&D role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven expertise in analytical chemistry techniques (GC, HPLC, FTIR, UV-Vis, titrations).
  • Strong understanding of raw material specifications, quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001), and supply chain principles.
  • Experience with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Experience in the specialty chemicals, pharmaceuticals, or advanced materials industry.
  • Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements relevant to chemical raw materials (e.g., REACH, GHS).
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems for material management.
