Job Description
Are you passionate about video games and have a keen eye for detail? Electronic Arts is looking for enthusiastic Remote Game Testers to join our global team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the quality assurance process of our exciting upcoming titles, working from the comfort of your own home, anywhere in the USA. As a Game Tester, you will play a crucial role in identifying bugs, glitches, and potential improvements, ensuring our games deliver the best possible experience to our players. This is a 100% remote position.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute test plans and test cases across various gaming platforms.
- Identify, document, and track software defects (bugs) using internal bug tracking systems.
- Provide detailed and accurate feedback on game features, usability, and overall player experience.
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure clear communication of issues.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of game design and testing methodologies.
- Adhere to project timelines and quality standards.
Required Skills
- Deep passion for video games and familiarity with various genres.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in written and verbal English communication.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work independently.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with different operating systems (PC, console interfaces).
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet home working environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in quality assurance (QA) or game testing, even on a volunteer basis.
- Familiarity with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
- Understanding of the game development lifecycle.
- Experience with multiple gaming platforms (PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, mobile).
