Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Remote Junior Web Developer with a keen interest in Artificial Intelligence to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring developer to build a robust portfolio while contributing to real-world projects. You will work on various web development tasks, gaining exposure to AI integration, machine learning APIs, and data visualization. This role is 100% remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home and collaborate with a diverse, globally distributed team. We value curiosity, a willingness to learn, and a passion for technology. While this is a junior role, your ability to pick up new concepts quickly and apply them creatively will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy web applications and user interfaces using modern web technologies.
- Collaborate with senior developers and product managers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Assist in integrating AI/ML models and APIs into web applications.
- Implement responsive designs to ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and development processes.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues, providing timely solutions.
- Document technical specifications and procedures.
- Continuously learn and stay updated with the latest web development and AI trends.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Understanding of front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Gulp).
- Basic knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Demonstrable interest or basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence concepts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with RESTful APIs or GraphQL.
- Exposure to Python or other backend languages.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with UI/UX principles and design tools.
- A personal portfolio showcasing web development projects (even non-professional ones).
- Coursework or self-study in machine learning or data science.
