Job Description
We are seeking a highly professional and dedicated Residential Concierge to join our team at a prestigious residential development in Sunderland. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and security of the property, providing an outstanding first impression, and offering unparalleled service to our residents. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, responding to resident inquiries, and maintaining a secure and welcoming environment. This position requires commitment to 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays, offering a high salary for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all residents and visitors, providing a warm and professional welcome.
- Manage access control for the building, ensuring the security of the premises at all times.
- Handle all incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, directing inquiries appropriately.
- Assist residents with a wide range of requests, including booking amenities, arranging transport, and providing local information.
- Oversee the receipt and distribution of parcels and mail.
- Monitor CCTV systems and conduct regular patrols to ensure safety and security.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies and unusual incidents, following established protocols.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the concierge desk and lobby area.
- Coordinate with maintenance and cleaning staff to address property issues efficiently.
- Log all incidents, requests, and activities accurately in the building management system.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service, hospitality, or security role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite, email, internet).
- A professional demeanor and appearance.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Residential Concierge or in a luxury hotel environment.
- SIA (Security Industry Authority) license is highly desirable.
- First Aid certification.
- Knowledge of local amenities and services in Sunderland.
