Job Description

Are you a discerning individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for exceptional hospitality? Saddlebrook Resort is seeking a Resort Mystery Guest for our summer seasonal program. This unique opportunity allows you to experience our luxurious resort services firsthand, completely incognito, with all expenses paid. Your mission will be to meticulously evaluate various aspects of our resort operations, from check-in to dining, spa services, and recreational activities, providing invaluable feedback to help us maintain and elevate our world-class standards. This role is crucial for ensuring every guest at Saddlebrook enjoys an unparalleled experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct discreet evaluations of designated resort services, facilities, and staff interactions across various departments (e.g., front desk, F&B, housekeeping, spa, recreation, golf/tennis).
  • Adhere strictly to evaluation protocols and checklists provided by resort management.
  • Observe and document all aspects of the guest journey, noting service quality, cleanliness, efficiency, staff attentiveness, and adherence to brand standards.
  • Provide objective, detailed, and constructive written reports within 24-48 hours of each evaluation, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain complete anonymity and discretion throughout the entire evaluation process.
  • Engage with staff naturally to test service responses and problem-solving abilities.
  • Participate in a debriefing session with management after evaluation periods, if required.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional observational skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear and concise reporting.
  • High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Ability to remain objective and unbiased in evaluations.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications for report generation.
  • Independent and self-motivated work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or quality assurance roles.
  • Familiarity with luxury resort operations and service standards.
  • A track record of providing constructive feedback.
  • Critical thinking and analytical abilities to assess complex service interactions.
