Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shopify Specialist with a strong focus on Wellness & Health to join our growing e-commerce team in Summerside, PEI. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in optimizing and expanding our online presence for health and wellness products, ensuring a seamless and engaging shopping experience for our customers. You will manage all aspects of our Shopify store, from product listings and content management to store performance and conversion optimization, with a particular emphasis on health, beauty, and wellness categories. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all aspects of the Shopify e-commerce platform, including product uploads, inventory management, collections, and page creation, with a focus on wellness and health products.
- Implement and optimize Shopify apps and integrations to enhance functionality and user experience.
- Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and content teams to ensure product information, promotions, and health-related content are accurate and engaging.
- Monitor website performance, conduct A/B testing, and analyze data to identify opportunities for conversion rate optimization and user journey improvements.
- Ensure all product data is accurately categorized and tagged for optimal search and navigation within the wellness and health sections.
- Stay up-to-date with Shopify best practices, e-commerce trends, and industry developments, especially within the health and wellness sector.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to the Shopify store in a timely manner.
- Assist with SEO strategies and implementation to improve organic search rankings for health and wellness keywords.
- Generate regular reports on e-commerce performance, including sales, traffic, and conversion metrics.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Shopify Specialist or similar e-commerce role (3+ years).
- Strong understanding of the Shopify platform, including Liquid programming, theme customization, and app integration.
- Proficiency in e-commerce best practices, digital marketing, and SEO principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Familiarity with health, wellness, or pharmacy retail e-commerce is a significant asset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or a related field.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other e-commerce analytics tools.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for minor theme adjustments.
- Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp) and marketing automation.
- Certification in Shopify or related e-commerce platforms.
