Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized, professional, and patient-focused individual to join our Fresno clinic as a Front Desk Professional. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a warm, welcoming, and efficient experience from arrival to departure. You will manage appointments, handle inquiries, process payments, and provide administrative support, contributing significantly to the smooth operation of our clinic. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering outstanding customer service within a medical setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and welcome patients and visitors to the clinic.
  • Efficiently manage patient check-ins and check-outs, including verifying insurance and collecting co-pays.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, optimizing the clinic's schedule.
  • Answer multi-line phone systems, direct calls, and respond to patient inquiries with professionalism.
  • Process patient payments and maintain accurate billing records.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain patient charts and electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Ensure the waiting area and front desk remain clean, organized, and presentable.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and faxing.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and communication.
