Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and responsible Teenager Compliance Aide to join our Cambridge team. This critical role involves ensuring strict adherence to age-restricted sales policies, with a primary focus on meticulous ID verification for cash payouts and other age-sensitive transactions. You will play a vital role in maintaining our high standards of compliance, protecting both our guests and our business. This position requires attention to detail, strong observational skills, and a commitment to upholding legal and company regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify photographic identification for all guests involved in age-restricted transactions, particularly cash payouts and lottery sales.
- Accurately document ID check results and report any discrepancies or suspicious activity to management.
- Educate guests on age verification policies in a polite and professional manner.
- Monitor transaction areas to identify potential compliance issues related to minors.
- Assist with other store compliance tasks as needed, including signage and product placement checks.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and sensitive store data.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and state/federal laws regarding age-restricted sales.
- Provide clear and concise communication with store leadership regarding compliance matters.
