Job Description
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and self-motivated Urban Infrastructure Tagger to join our remote team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the accuracy and richness of Google Maps and other geospatial products by meticulously reviewing and tagging urban infrastructure data. This involves identifying, categorizing, and annotating various elements within street-level imagery and satellite data, such as buildings, roads, landmarks, points of interest, and other key urban features. Your work will directly contribute to improved navigation, local search results, and a more comprehensive understanding of urban environments for users worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately review and interpret street-level and satellite imagery to identify urban infrastructure elements.
- Apply specific tags and classifications to a wide range of features including buildings, roads, sidewalks, traffic signs, public transport stops, and natural elements.
- Ensure data consistency and adherence to established guidelines and quality standards.
- Identify and report discrepancies or ambiguities in mapping data.
- Participate in calibration and quality assurance exercises to maintain high data accuracy.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of tagging tools and processes by providing feedback.
- Manage workload effectively to meet daily and weekly production targets while maintaining quality.
