Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a small team of valeters in daily operations, ensuring high standards of vehicle cleanliness.
  • Oversee the interior and exterior valeting of a variety of vehicles.
  • Train and mentor new valeting team members, promoting best practices.
  • Manage valeting supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper use.
  • Conduct thorough quality checks on all completed vehicles to meet Kwik Fit standards.
  • Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Assist with scheduling and workload distribution for the valeting team.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing any client queries regarding valeting services efficiently.
  • Maintain a tidy and organised valeting bay.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in vehicle valeting or detailing.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning products, equipment, and their safe application.
  • Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate a team.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team environment.
  • A full, valid UK driving license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or informal team leader capacity.
  • Certification in car care or detailing techniques.
  • Knowledge of automotive industry best practices for vehicle presentation.
