Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Weekend Morning Porter to join our dedicated team at Marriott International in Bristol. This part-time position offers a unique schedule, allowing you to work Saturday and Sunday mornings from 7am to 12pm, leaving your afternoons free. As a Porter, you will be the first point of contact for many of our guests, playing a crucial role in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment. Your main responsibilities will involve assisting guests with their luggage, maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of public areas, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests upon arrival and assist with luggage handling, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel lobby, entrance, and other public areas throughout the morning shift.
  • Assist guests with general inquiries, providing information about hotel services and local attractions in Bristol.
  • Support other hotel departments as needed, including front desk and housekeeping, to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Perform light manual tasks, such as moving furniture for event setups or deliveries, as required.
  • Ensure the security of guest belongings and report any unusual activities or maintenance issues to management.
  • Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.

Required Skills

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry luggage and other items comfortably.
