Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage appointment scheduling, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently.
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle general inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
- Process payments, manage billing, and maintain accurate client and patient records.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and managing inventory of front-desk supplies.
- Provide basic information about our services, products, and pet care advice to clients.
- Handle sensitive situations with discretion and compassion.
- Collaborate effectively with veterinary surgeons, nurses, and other team members.
- Learn and adhere to all clinic policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, email).
- High level of empathy and a genuine love for animals.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role.
- Basic knowledge of animal care or veterinary terminology.
- Experience using practice management software (e.g., VetSpace, RxWorks).
- GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths.
