BetterUp is seeking a dynamic Virtual Tenacity Coach with a special focus on Overcoming Obstacles to join our innovative team. This is a 100% remote position. As a Virtual Tenacity Coach, you will provide personalized, one-on-one coaching to our members, guiding them through difficult situations, fostering resilience, and developing strategies to surmount professional and personal roadblocks. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-impact, personalized virtual coaching sessions focused on tenacity, resilience, and obstacle overcoming.
- Collaborate with members to identify specific challenges, set clear goals, and develop actionable strategies for success.
- Provide consistent support, feedback, and accountability to members, fostering their self-efficacy and determination.
- Utilize BetterUp's proprietary platform and tools to track member progress and engagement.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training provided by BetterUp to enhance coaching methodologies.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive coaching community.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of professional coaching experience, with a proven track record in helping individuals overcome significant challenges.
- Accredited coaching certification from a reputable organization (e.g., ICF ACC, PCC, MCC, or equivalent).
- Exceptional active listening, empathy, and communication skills.
- Strong ability to build rapport and trust quickly in a virtual environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in goal setting, strategic planning, and motivational interviewing.
- Proficiency with virtual communication platforms and basic office software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Experience with cognitive-behavioral coaching techniques or resilience training.
- Previous experience coaching within a corporate or high-performance environment.
- Familiarity with BetterUp's coaching methodology and platform.
