Job Description

We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser (Digital) to specialize in Pinterest Shoppable Pins. In this unique role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and optimizing visual content specifically for Pinterest to drive engagement and sales through shoppable pins. You will leverage your understanding of fashion trends, visual merchandising principles, and Pinterest’s unique platform features to create compelling, conversion-focused visual stories that resonate with our target audience. This role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and a keen eye for data-driven optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive visual merchandising strategy for Pinterest, focusing on shoppable pins and product discoverability.
  • Curate and create visually stunning imagery and video content optimized for Pinterest, ensuring brand consistency and aesthetic appeal.
  • Collaborate with marketing, e-commerce, and buying teams to align Pinterest content with product launches, seasonal campaigns, and inventory goals.
  • Implement best practices for Pinterest SEO, keywords, and tagging to maximize reach and engagement for shoppable content.
  • Monitor Pinterest trends, competitor activities, and platform updates to identify new opportunities and inform content strategy.
  • Analyze performance metrics (e.g., impressions, click-through rates, conversions) of shoppable pins and provide data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Manage content calendars and ensure timely execution of all Pinterest visual merchandising initiatives.
  • Educate internal teams on Pinterest best practices and the power of visual merchandising for e-commerce conversion.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in digital visual merchandising, e-commerce merchandising, or social media content creation, with a strong focus on Pinterest.
  • Proven track record of creating high-performing visual content for digital platforms.
  • Deep understanding of Pinterest's ecosystem, including shoppable pins, Idea Pins, and analytics.
  • Proficiency in visual design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva) for image editing and content creation.
  • Excellent understanding of current fashion and lifestyle trends.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional creativity, aesthetic judgment, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Experience with other social commerce platforms.
  • Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies for visual content.
