Job Description
As a Warehouse Expeditor at XPO Logistics, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the swift and accurate movement of goods within our Ogden facility. You will be responsible for tracking shipments, resolving delays, and coordinating with various departments to maintain an efficient workflow and meet delivery deadlines. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and track inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely processing.
- Identify and resolve any delays or discrepancies in the warehouse workflow.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, drivers, and management regarding shipment status.
- Coordinate with inventory and shipping departments to prioritize urgent orders.
- Maintain accurate records of all expedited items and their progress.
- Proactively identify potential bottlenecks and propose solutions to improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and operational procedures.
Required Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar software.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite).
