Job Description
Join Amazon as a Warehouse Laborer and play a vital role in our fulfillment operations. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products, contributing directly to Amazon’s commitment to customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload inventory shipments, verifying contents against shipping manifests.
- Efficiently sort, place, and store items in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate various equipment, including pallet jacks and hand trucks (training provided), to move products safely.
- Pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Pack and label items for shipment, adhering to Amazon's quality and safety standards.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring safe and timely transport of goods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety protocols.
- Perform general warehouse duties as assigned to support overall operations.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including attendance and punctuality standards.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
- Ability to work in an environment with varying temperatures, dust, and noise levels.
- Basic computer navigation and data entry skills (for some roles).
