Job Description

Join Amazon as a Warehouse Laborer and play a vital role in our fulfillment operations. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals looking for a dynamic work environment where safety and efficiency are paramount. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products, contributing directly to Amazon’s commitment to customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and unload inventory shipments, verifying contents against shipping manifests.
  • Efficiently sort, place, and store items in designated warehouse locations.
  • Operate various equipment, including pallet jacks and hand trucks (training provided), to move products safely.
  • Pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Pack and label items for shipment, adhering to Amazon's quality and safety standards.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring safe and timely transport of goods.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety protocols.
  • Perform general warehouse duties as assigned to support overall operations.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including attendance and punctuality standards.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
  • Ability to work in an environment with varying temperatures, dust, and noise levels.
  • Basic computer navigation and data entry skills (for some roles).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Commitment to safety and following all operational guidelines.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment.
