Job Description
Join the Ulta Beauty logistics team as a Warehouse Picker, specializing in skincare products. This entry-level position focuses on light picking tasks within our state-of-the-art distribution center in Overland Park. We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a fast hire opportunity, perfect for those looking to start a rewarding career immediately with a leading beauty retailer. You will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders, ensuring our high standards for product integrity and delivery are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick skincare products from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or using an RF scanner.
- Verify product numbers, descriptions, and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Package picked items securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the picking zone.
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Work efficiently to meet daily picking targets and deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any issues or discrepancies.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and understand order sheets in English
- Basic math skills for counting and verification
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly
- Reliability and strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment is a plus, but not required
- Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
