Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Zephyrhills team as an Entry-Level Warehouse Runner. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a career in logistics with a major industry leader. As a Warehouse Runner, you will be crucial in ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our facility, supporting various warehouse operations, and contributing to an organized and efficient workspace. No prior experience is required; we are looking for high-energy individuals eager to learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the movement of inventory and materials throughout the warehouse using manual and powered equipment (training provided).
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring safe and efficient handling of goods.
- Organize and maintain the cleanliness of work areas, aisles, and storage locations.
- Pick and prepare orders for shipment, verifying accuracy against documentation.
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
- Support other warehouse team members and supervisors as needed to meet operational goals.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including sorting, labeling, and packing.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, 'can-do' attitude.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a physical labor role or a team-oriented environment (e.g., retail, construction, landscaping).
- Familiarity with basic warehouse operations or inventory concepts is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to learn and operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack) safely and efficiently.
