Job Description
Allied Universal is seeking dedicated and vigilant individuals for Weekend Event Security positions, with a primary focus on stadiums and arenas. This part-time role is perfect for those looking to work flexible hours, primarily on weekends, contributing to the safety and enjoyment of large-scale events. You will be a crucial part of our security team, responsible for maintaining order, protecting assets, and providing exceptional customer service in dynamic, high-energy environments. Key Responsibilities
- Patrol designated areas on foot or in a vehicle, monitoring for unusual activity, security breaches, or emergencies.
- Control access to venues, verify credentials, and direct patrons to appropriate entrances/exits.
- Respond to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations quickly and effectively.
- Enforce venue policies and procedures, addressing violations with professionalism and tact.
- Conduct bag checks, metal detection, and other security screenings as required.
- Provide clear and concise written reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities.
- Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency services, and event staff as needed.
- Offer assistance and information to event attendees, maintaining a friendly and helpful demeanor.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding security operations.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work primarily on weekends and evenings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong observational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Basic computer proficiency for report writing.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- Knowledge of stadium or arena security protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
