Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented WFH Claims Administrator to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the claims process from initial report to resolution, ensuring accurate documentation, timely communication, and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. This is a crucial position for maintaining our high standards of customer service and operational efficiency within the insurance claims department. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize claim files, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Communicate effectively with policyholders, adjusters, and other stakeholders regarding claim status and required information.
  • Process claim payments and handle related administrative tasks, including data entry and record keeping.
  • Review claim forms and related documents for completeness and accuracy, identifying discrepancies or missing information.
  • Assist claims adjusters with various administrative duties to support the efficient handling of claims.
  • Respond to inquiries from policyholders and internal teams, providing clear and concise information.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive information.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience, preferably in an office or remote setting.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Previous experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Familiarity with claims processing software or CRM systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
