Job Description
Are you passionate about the digital world and eager to kickstart a career in SEO? Jellyfish is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented WFH Query Research Assistant to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with little to no prior experience in SEO, as we are committed to providing comprehensive training and development. You will play a crucial role in supporting our SEO and content teams by conducting in-depth query research, helping us understand what users are searching for, and identifying opportunities to optimize our clients’ online presence. This position is 100% remote, allowing you to learn and grow your skills from the comfort of your home.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive keyword and query research using various SEO tools to identify trending topics and user intent.
- Analyze search engine results pages (SERPs) to understand competitor strategies and content gaps.
- Assist in developing keyword strategies for client content and campaigns.
- Collaborate with content creators and SEO specialists to ensure research insights are effectively implemented.
- Monitor and report on search query performance and trends.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO best practices, algorithm changes, and industry developments.
- Organize and maintain research data in structured formats for easy access and analysis.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing strategy discussions.
Required Skills
- Exceptional research and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
