Hair Club is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Wig & Hairpiece Trainee to join our team in Katy, TX. This entry-level position offers comprehensive training to develop expertise in wig and hairpiece customization, fitting, and maintenance, specifically catering to clients, many of whom are navigating the challenges of cancer treatment. You will play a crucial role in helping individuals restore their sense of self and confidence during a vulnerable time.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in a structured training program to learn all aspects of wig and hairpiece services.
- Master techniques for measuring, fitting, customizing, and styling wigs and hairpieces to meet individual client needs.
- Provide empathetic and respectful support to clients, ensuring a comfortable and private experience.
- Learn about various types of hair loss, particularly those related to medical conditions and treatments.
- Maintain meticulous records of client consultations and services.
- Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the consultation rooms and work areas.
- Assist senior stylists and technicians with client appointments and operational tasks.
- Stay informed about new products, techniques, and industry best practices.
