Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented UPS Search Quality Analyst with a strong focus on Google and Bing search engines to join our remote team. This crucial role involves evaluating and improving the quality of search results, ensuring our digital content and services are highly discoverable and relevant to our customers. As a Search Quality Analyst, you will play a vital part in enhancing our online presence and optimizing user experience by providing critical feedback and insights into search engine algorithms and ranking factors. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the specified region.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate search results quality for Google and Bing based on provided guidelines.
- Provide detailed, objective, and consistent feedback on various types of search queries.
- Identify patterns and trends in search behavior and result quality to inform optimization strategies.
- Contribute to the refinement of search quality guidelines and best practices.
- Collaborate with SEO, content, and product teams to implement improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with search engine algorithm changes and industry trends.
- Document findings and present data-driven recommendations for enhancing search relevance and user satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Search Quality Analyst or similar role.
- In-depth understanding of Google and Bing search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong written communication skills for providing clear and concise feedback.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Proficiency with search evaluation tools and platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to follow complex guidelines accurately and consistently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with other major search engines or localization.
- Familiarity with digital marketing, SEO, and content strategy.
