Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Compliance Admin Assistant to join our team in Sugar Land. This role will primarily focus on supporting our regulatory compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulations. The ideal candidate will assist in managing documentation, conducting research, and facilitating communication related to compliance matters, contributing to the firm’s robust control environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of compliance documentation, reports, and records.
  • Support the regulatory filing process by gathering necessary information and coordinating submissions.
  • Conduct basic research on regulatory updates and changes affecting the financial industry.
  • Organize and manage internal compliance training materials and schedules.
  • Facilitate communication between various departments and external regulatory bodies as needed.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and data entry.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive compliance information.

Required Skills

  • Proven administrative support experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High degree of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a compliance, legal, or regulatory department.
  • Familiarity with financial industry regulations (e.g., FINRA, SEC, OCC).
  • Experience with document management systems.
