Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Unemployment Claims Adjudicators. This entry-level position is based in Gateshead and comes with full paid training to equip you with all the necessary skills and knowledge. As an Adjudicator, you will play a crucial role in assessing unemployment benefit claims, ensuring accuracy, fairness, and compliance with public sector regulations. Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and gather information pertinent to unemployment claims, including claimant statements and employer responses.

  • Conduct interviews with claimants and employers to clarify information and resolve discrepancies.
  • Document all findings, decisions, and communications accurately and thoroughly.
  • Communicate complex decisions and explanations clearly and empathetically to claimants.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to ensure efficient claims processing.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on policy changes.
