Job Description
Are you passionate about hospitality and eager to start your career in a dynamic resort setting? Revelstoke Mountain Resort is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Hotel Receptionist Trainee to join our welcoming team. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive, hands-on training to equip you with all the skills needed to excel. This is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career in a stunning natural environment, learning the ins and outs of front office operations and guest services from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage check-in/check-out procedures efficiently.
- Answer phones, direct calls, and respond to guest inquiries via email and in-person.
- Provide accurate information about resort services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Handle guest requests and resolve any issues promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Manage reservations, process payments, and maintain accurate guest records.
- Assist with administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the front desk.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
