Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented WFH Pinterest Moderator to join our growing team. This is a crucial remote role focused on ensuring a safe, positive, and secure online environment for the Pinterest community. As a Pinterest Moderator, you will be responsible for reviewing user-generated content, enforcing community guidelines, and identifying potential policy violations. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to online safety will be vital in maintaining the integrity and quality of the Pinterest platform. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively review user-generated content on Pinterest (images, videos, comments, profiles) for compliance with community guidelines and terms of service.
- Accurately identify and categorize policy violations, including but not limited to hate speech, harassment, graphic content, spam, and misinformation.
- Take appropriate action on identified content, which may include removal, warning, or escalating to senior team members.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and consistency in content moderation decisions.
- Stay informed about current social media trends, platform policies, and evolving online safety best practices.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to discuss complex cases and improve moderation strategies.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and engage in continuous learning and feedback loops.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Pinterest platform and its community guidelines.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to make sound judgments quickly and consistently under pressure.
- Proficiency in English with strong written communication skills.
- Comfortable with reviewing potentially sensitive or explicit content.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home office environment.

- Previous experience in online content moderation, community management, or trust & safety roles.
