Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Apple Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. This crucial role will be responsible for managing the procurement of Apple products, services, and related support infrastructure for our internal operations and client projects. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Apple’s ecosystem, supply chain, and enterprise solutions, coupled with strong negotiation and vendor management skills. This is an on-site position requiring a dedicated individual who can ensure cost-effective, timely, and compliant procurement processes, directly contributing to our operational efficiency and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for all Apple hardware, software, licenses, and services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Apple vendor representatives and authorized resellers.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve optimal value and cost savings.
- Monitor market trends, product releases, and pricing structures within the Apple ecosystem.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, legal requirements, and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (IT, Project Management, Finance) to understand requirements and timelines.
- Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve any supply chain or quality issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities and supplier performance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization within Apple procurement.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, specifically with Apple products.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Certification in Procurement (e.g., CPSM, C.P.M.).
- Familiarity with global trade compliance and customs regulations.
- Experience with large-scale technology deployments involving Apple infrastructure.
