Job Description
Join Microsoft’s dynamic customer interaction team, focusing exclusively on chat and email support. This is a unique opportunity for individuals who excel at written communication and problem-solving, without the need for phone interactions. You will be the frontline support for Microsoft product users, providing expert assistance, troubleshooting solutions, and ensuring a positive customer experience through efficient and articulate written dialogue. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the chance to work from anywhere within the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, accurate, and professional customer support via chat and email for a range of Microsoft products and services.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, account inquiries, and service-related questions.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate internal teams when necessary, ensuring seamless handoffs.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and meet service level agreements (SLAs) for response times and resolution rates.
- Document customer interactions and resolutions accurately in the CRM system.
- Stay up-to-date with Microsoft product knowledge, service updates, and support procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, remote-first work environment.
Required Skills
- Excellent written communication and grammar skills in English.
- Proficiency in navigating multiple systems and applications simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office suite.
- Prior experience in a customer service or support role (chat/email preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics 365).
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services (e.g., Outlook, Teams, OneDrive).
- Previous remote work experience.
- Associate's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
