Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Software Tester to join our Quality Assurance (QA) team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with a strong passion for video games and a keen eye for identifying imperfections. You will be instrumental in the development cycle of our exciting gaming titles, responsible for meticulously testing software, reporting bugs, verifying fixes, and contributing to the overall quality and player experience of our products. Key Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to identify software defects and inconsistencies.
- Accurately document, track, and report bugs using internal bug-tracking systems, providing clear and concise reproduction steps.
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure the stability and functionality of resolved issues.
- Collaborate effectively with developers, designers, and other QA team members to ensure product quality.
- Provide constructive feedback on game features, usability, and the overall player experience.
- Participate actively in daily stand-ups and team meetings, communicating progress and roadblocks.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
Required Skills

- Exceptional attention to detail and strong observational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear bug reporting and team collaboration.
- Ability to meticulously follow instructions and execute test plans accurately and consistently.
- Basic understanding of software testing principles or a strong willingness to learn quickly.
- Proficiency with PC gaming platforms and various input devices (keyboard, mouse, controller).
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as an integral part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with common bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Asana).
- Exposure to game development tools or engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity).
- Prior experience in a QA role, whether professional, volunteer, or amateur.
- Basic knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB Foundation Level).
