Job Description

IKEA is looking for a dedicated Billy Support Aide to join our team in Reading. In this role, you will be the go-to expert for all things Billy bookcase, helping customers plan, select, and troubleshoot their Billy shelving systems. You’ll ensure a smooth and satisfying experience, empowering our customers to build the perfect library or storage solution for their needs. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on assistance and thrives in a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with planning and selecting appropriate Billy bookcase components based on their needs and space.
  • Provide expert advice on product features, assembly, and customization options for the Billy series.
  • Help customers troubleshoot common assembly issues and offer practical solutions.
  • Demonstrate proper assembly techniques and product care when necessary.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized Billy product display area, ensuring all samples and information are accessible.
  • Process orders and returns accurately, adhering to company policies.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating complex issues when required.
  • Stay up-to-date with new Billy products, accessories, and promotional offers.
