Job Description

Join FedEx as a dedicated CDL-A Team Driver! We are looking for professional and safety-conscious team drivers to operate our brand-new 2024 equipment. This role offers excellent compensation at $0.80 CPM for the team, consistent freight, and the opportunity to be part of a world-renowned logistics network. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Class A commercial motor vehicles in a team driving environment.
  • Safely transport freight across designated long-haul routes.
  • Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELDs) and all required paperwork.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, team partner, and management.
  • Ensure timely delivery of cargo while maintaining professional conduct.
  • Perform minor roadside adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper working order of equipment.

Required Skills

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
  • Minimum 2 years (24 months) of verifiable Class A driving experience.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
  • Strong understanding of DOT safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the job (lifting, bending, climbing).
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with team driving operations.
  • Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
  • Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs).
  • Proven record of on-time deliveries and safe driving practices.
