Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Food Production Associate to join our team in Mid-City, New Orleans. In this vital role, you will be responsible for contributing to the efficient and safe production of our high-quality food products. Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and strict quality control standards is paramount. Key Responsibilities
- Operate production equipment and machinery according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality specifications and GMP standards.
- Perform routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Assist with machine setup, changeovers, and minor troubleshooting.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all sanitation and hygiene protocols.
- Accurately complete production logs, reports, and other necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production efficiency and quality.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Participate in training sessions as required to enhance skills and knowledge.
Required Skills
- Ability to understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production environment.
- Familiarity with production machinery and tools.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
