Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Food Production Associate to join our team in Mid-City, New Orleans. In this vital role, you will be responsible for contributing to the efficient and safe production of our high-quality food products. Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and strict quality control standards is paramount. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate production equipment and machinery according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality specifications and GMP standards.
  • Perform routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
  • Assist with machine setup, changeovers, and minor troubleshooting.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all sanitation and hygiene protocols.
  • Accurately complete production logs, reports, and other necessary documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production efficiency and quality.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Participate in training sessions as required to enhance skills and knowledge.

Required Skills

  • Ability to understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production environment.
  • Familiarity with production machinery and tools.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
