Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Private Piano Teacher to join our esteemed faculty. This role offers the flexibility to teach either from a dedicated studio space provided by the Institute, from your home studio, or by traveling to students’ homes within the Beverly Hills area. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching piano, possess excellent musical and pedagogical skills, and be able to create engaging and effective lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and goals. This position is perfect for someone looking for flexible hours and the opportunity to make a significant impact on students’ musical journeys.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver personalized piano lessons for students of varying ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for recitals, examinations, and auditions as appropriate.
- Communicate effectively with students and their parents/guardians regarding progress and lesson schedules.
- Maintain a professional and inspiring teaching environment.
- Manage scheduling and lesson planning efficiently.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles and individual goals.
- Stay updated on best practices in piano pedagogy and music education.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in piano performance and theory.
