Job Description
Are you looking for an immediate start with no prior experience required? FedEx Express in Manchester, NH is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Night Shift Parcel Sorters. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated candidates to kickstart their career in logistics. You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently sorting packages to ensure timely delivery, working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately sort and scan parcels and packages according to destination and service type.
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently from trucks and containers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed (training provided).
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily sorting goals and deadlines.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly, and up to 75 lbs occasionally with assistance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work night shifts consistently.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or physical labor role is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
