Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Office Aide to join our Columbus team. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals with a high school diploma looking to start their career in a dynamic corporate environment. As an Office Aide, you will provide essential administrative and clerical support, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our office. You will be a key contributor to maintaining an efficient and positive workspace for all employees. This is an on-site position.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Maintain office supply inventory, placing orders as needed and organizing storage areas.
- Assist with basic data entry, document scanning, and filing (physical and digital).
- Ensure common areas, meeting rooms, and kitchenettes are tidy and well-stocked.
- Provide front desk coverage, greeting visitors and directing inquiries as necessary.
- Support various teams with ad-hoc administrative tasks and projects.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of meeting rooms and event spaces.
- Operate standard office equipment such as printers, copiers, and fax machines.
- Communicate effectively with staff and external vendors.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to office management and security.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Basic proficiency with computer applications (e.g., email, word processing).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and move office supplies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in an office or administrative support role (even part-time or volunteer).
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Calendar).
- A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Customer service orientation.
