Job Description
Join Turner Construction Company as a Weekend Site Marshall, a crucial part-time role dedicated to ensuring the safety and smooth operation of our construction sites during weekend hours. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment. You will be the primary point of contact for site access, ensuring only authorized personnel enter the premises, monitoring for hazards, and assisting with general site order. This is an on-site, safety-focused role with a direct impact on our project success and worker well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Control and monitor site access points, verifying credentials for all personnel and visitors entering and exiting the site.
- Conduct regular patrols of the construction site to identify and report potential safety hazards, unauthorized activities, or suspicious behavior.
- Enforce site rules and regulations, including personal protective equipment (PPE) compliance, speed limits, and designated pathways.
- Maintain accurate logs of site visitors, deliveries, and significant events or incidents during shifts.
- Provide basic assistance and direction to site personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers as needed.
- Act as a first point of contact for minor incidents or emergencies, escalating critical issues to the appropriate management immediately.
- Ensure proper placement and visibility of safety signage and barriers.
