Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Branding Assistant with a focus on Digital Identity to join our remote team. This role is crucial in supporting Google’s efforts to maintain a consistent and impactful brand presence across all digital platforms. You will assist in the implementation of digital branding strategies, monitor online identity, and ensure that all digital communications align with Google’s established brand guidelines. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the UK, collaborating with teams virtually.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of digital branding strategies to enhance Google's online presence.
  • Monitor and manage Google's digital identity across various online platforms, social media, and third-party sites.
  • Ensure strict adherence to brand guidelines and visual identity standards in all digital assets and communications.
  • Support content creation teams by providing brand assets, guidelines, and feedback on digital materials.
  • Conduct research on digital identity trends, competitor branding, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing, legal, product, and communications teams on brand-related projects.
  • Help maintain and update digital asset libraries, brand style guides, and documentation.
  • Contribute to reports on brand performance, digital engagement, and identity consistency metrics.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of digital branding principles and online identity management.
  • Proficiency with various digital marketing platforms and content management systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently in a remote work environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools and an understanding of visual hierarchy.
  • A proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Prior experience (internship or entry-level) in digital branding, marketing, or content management.
