Job Description
Are you ready to lend your voice to the festive spirit of Cincinnati? The Cincinnati Arts Association is seeking enthusiastic and talented Professional Carolers for a seasonal holiday hire. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn ‘fast cash’ by sharing your musical talents during the most wonderful time of the year. We’re looking for individuals or small groups with strong vocal abilities, a passion for holiday music, and a professional demeanor to perform at various locations, including our venues, corporate events, and public spaces throughout the holiday season.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a repertoire of traditional and contemporary holiday carols with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Engage with audiences and create a festive, joyful atmosphere.
- Maintain a consistent level of vocal quality and performance throughout scheduled appearances.
- Adhere to performance schedules and arrival times.
- Represent the Cincinnati Arts Association with a positive and welcoming attitude.
- Coordinate with event managers and other performers as needed.
Required Skills
- Exceptional vocal talent and pitch accuracy.
- Extensive repertoire of holiday carols.
- Strong stage presence and ability to engage an audience.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to perform for extended periods, both indoors and outdoors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous professional caroling or performing experience.
- Ability to sing in harmony with other vocalists.
- A well-maintained, professional holiday costume (provided by CAA, or ability to source your own if approved).
- Availability for flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends during November and December.
