Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Work From Home: Airline Ticketing Agent and embark on a rewarding career in the travel industry. You will be responsible for assisting customers with flight bookings, changes, cancellations, and inquiries, ensuring a seamless and positive travel experience. Key Responsibilities
- Process flight reservations, changes, and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
- Assist customers with general inquiries regarding flight schedules, fares, baggage policies, and travel requirements.
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and chat, resolving issues and complaints professionally.
- Verify passenger travel documents and ensure compliance with airline and international regulations.
- Upsell additional services such as seat upgrades, extra baggage, and travel insurance when appropriate.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Air Canada's products, services, and policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex customer issues.
- Document all customer interactions and transactions in the reservation system.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong customer service orientation with a patient and empathetic approach.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and navigating multiple applications simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly under pressure.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated quiet workspace.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, call center, or travel industry roles.
- Familiarity with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) like Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
- Knowledge of an additional language (e.g., French) is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college experience preferred.
