Job Description
Join Kaplan Test Prep’s remote team as a seasonal Admissions Essay Reviewer. This crucial role involves providing insightful, constructive feedback on college and graduate school admissions essays during our peak application season. You will help students refine their writing, strengthen their narratives, and present their best selves to admissions committees. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to make a significant impact from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly review and provide detailed feedback on student admissions essays, personal statements, and supplementary essays.
- Focus on clarity, coherence, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and overall essay effectiveness.
- Offer constructive suggestions for improving content, structure, tone, and argument.
- Maintain a rapid turnaround time for essay reviews, especially during peak periods.
- Adhere to Kaplan's guidelines and best practices for essay feedback.
- Collaborate with the academic support team as needed to ensure student success.
Required Skills
- Exceptional written communication and editing skills.
- Strong understanding of effective essay structure and persuasive writing.
