Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Compensation & Benefits / Rewards Manager to join our dynamic HR team in Cumbernauld. This critical role involves designing, implementing, and managing competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring our reward strategies are aligned with business objectives and market best practices. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits strategies and programs aligned with Deloitte's global standards and local market needs.
- Conduct market research and participate in salary surveys to ensure competitive pay structures and benefits offerings.
- Manage annual salary review processes, bonus schemes, and long-term incentive plans from planning to execution.
- Oversee the administration of all benefits programs, including health, retirement, wellness initiatives, and other employee perks.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant compensation and benefits regulations, legal requirements, and internal policies in the UK.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to HR business partners and line managers on reward-related matters, including job evaluations and salary recommendations.
- Develop and deliver clear and effective communications to employees regarding compensation and benefits programs and policies.
- Analyze current programs, identify areas for improvement, and propose innovative and cost-effective solutions to enhance our overall reward proposition.
- Collaborate with global and regional HR teams to ensure consistency and best practice sharing in reward management.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a Compensation & Benefits Manager or in a similar senior rewards role.
- Deep understanding of compensation principles, job evaluation methodologies, and salary benchmarking processes.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis, statistical tools, and advanced Excel for reporting and modeling.
- Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and specific C&B regulations and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Proficiency in HRIS and compensation management software (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors).
- A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends and best practices in reward management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CIPD, WorldatWork Certified Compensation Professional – CCP) is highly desirable.
- Experience working in a global or multinational professional services organization.
- Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing new reward strategies or significant program enhancements.
- Experience managing compensation and benefits programs across multiple employee groups or geographies.
