Job Description

Are you passionate about helping clients navigate their financial futures? Concentrix is seeking a dedicated Client Care Specialist to join our Financial Services team, specifically focusing on 401k retirement plans. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for plan participants, providing exceptional service and support related to their 401k accounts. You will address inquiries, explain plan features, assist with transactions, and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy, ensuring a positive client experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for 401k plan participants, addressing inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
  • Provide clear and concise information regarding 401k plan rules, regulations, investment options, and transaction processes.
  • Assist participants with account access, balance inquiries, contribution changes, withdrawal requests, and beneficiary updates.
  • Investigate and resolve participant issues and complaints efficiently and effectively, escalating complex cases when necessary.
  • Document all client interactions accurately and thoroughly in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Educate participants on available online tools and resources to empower self-service.
  • Adhere to all company policies, compliance procedures, and regulatory requirements specific to financial services and 401k plans.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and problem resolution.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, preferably in financial services or a call center environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French (bilingualism is often a strong asset in Montreal).
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other standard office applications.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Demonstrated empathy, patience, and active listening skills.
  • Basic understanding of financial concepts, particularly related to retirement savings (e.g., 401k, IRAs).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with 401k or other defined contribution plans.
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience working with financial regulations and compliance.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CSC, IFIC) are a plus.
